Swine Flue Advice PDF Print E-mail
Written by Richard Winters
The majority of cases of swine flu in Wales have been mild although proving severe for a small minority. More people are becoming infected as the virus begins to circulate more freely in the community, rather than being limited to those that had travelled to an affected country and their close contacts. That is why we have moved to a treatment phase. (More information is available at the link -  Swine Flu: from containment to treatment) You can also read the latest information about the situation in Wales on these pages, including weekly updates. Stay informed If you have flu-like symptoms, stay at home. You can check your symptoms by calling the Swine Flu Information Line on 0800 1 513 513. If you are still concerned contact NHS Direct Wales on 0845 4647, or visit www.nhsdirect.wales.nhs.uk
